Great things have happened
19/11/2005:Two great events have taken place recently: First, on Nov 04, the very first meeting of the Very Old Boys, that is our Generation 10+ which graduated 1995 and before, took place in Frankfurt. Besides a very remarkable crowd of 25 VOBs from the years 1989 to 1995, Prof Spandau and Simonovich came from Reutlingen to gather at Literaturcafé for an evening of fine food and drinks, news from ESB and Euro Alumni, but particularly for lively discussions long into the night. We are very much looking forward to the next Frankfurt event early next year, and for the next regional VOB group springing up - anyone feels like organising this by chance?! One good thing is not enough for a nice weekend. The following day, the 10th Graduation Anniversary of the class of 1995 took place in the Bad Homburg Castle - you could not have asked for a more exquisite setting to celebrate! 50 Old Boys came from near and far (Beijing probably being the record for this evening) to eat, drink, chat and dance the night away - clearly setting high standards for the next event, both in numbers and location. Anyone from 1986 and/or 1996 up for the challenge?! Please check the photos of these events in our picture archives, either to remember if you were there, or to regret if you were not.
